This is the infamous bathroom from the modern horror classic "Saw." It is currently a work in progress, though as you can see, what is completed can easily stand on it's own as a final product.
Just about every modeling and texturing trick in the book is used in this scene, from modular modeling and texturing, to vertex blending textures to maximize the amount of reuseable work. Additionally, many special materials needed to be created in Unreal to pull off many of the advanced effects, such as the mirror and glowing lights.
This scene was created in 3D Studio Max and assembled and lit in the Unreal Development Kit (UDK) where it is also fully playable. Additionally, it was textured using a combination of Photoshop, Crazybump, and xNormal. Check back soon for video of the final scene in action!
